| | | 1830's Biedermeier Architectural Style Bookcase Cherry Veneers & Ebonized Detail Stunning Biedermeier bookcase with dramatic architectural style pedimented top. Warm cherry veneer on pine with ebonized column and korbels. Matte gold painted capitals. Burl walnut veneer on the front of the drawer. Stationary pine shelves. The piece has been refinished at some point in its fairly recent past. The finish is a similar to a French polish, and the ebonized accents have been redone as well. The craftsman knew what he was doing - the workmanship is excellent. The door lock works and comes with a key. Original pine backside. Structurally without issue, level, solid and plum. The finish is newer and immaculate. No veneer losses or noticeable surface issues. Excellent, usable piece. Measurements: 41.5" wide, (43.5" wide at cornice). 75.25" tall. 19.5" deep (21" deep at cornice).
