Grand 19th Century English Two-Piece Mahogany Stepback Bookcase or

A beautiful large Georgian English two-piece mahogany step back bookcase, its upper case with a molded cornice over two glass doors, each with ten glazed glass panes, the top two panes arched on each, opening to four adjustable interior shelves, surmounting a lower case with two fitted drawers over two crossbanded veneer paneled doors, opening to two interior adjustable shelves, all supported by four round bun feet. The punched brass drawer pulls appears to be original to the piece. Dates to the early 19th century in very good to excellent overall condition, with some shelf wear, bun feet edge losses, and other minor imperfections and expected wear from age and use.
